I highly recommend D Hale Tree Service because they did such outstanding work taking care of my tree problems. I didn’t have to worry at all—he just took care of it. Dana came out same day to evaluate and estimate the job, and completed the complicated job within days. I had about 15 dead, dying, and fallen trees close to fences and house, plus several large live branches overhanging the house threatening damage. The crew was expert and professional in removing everything safely, always friendly and with great attitudes. They worked very hard, and always with a smile. They all really knew what they were doing and went above and beyond, including taking care of problems nobody even realized at first. I couldn't be happier with the work and the results, and the team was the best. I've already recommended D Hale Tree Service to others, and he will always be my first and only call for tree work. A thunderclap in the soul of suburban forestry. I hired them to trim a few limbs, and they trimmed my existential despair while they were at it. These legends showed up with the kind of precision and swagger you'd expect from a NASA launch crew—but for TREES. My overgrown maple didn't stand a chance. They dismantled that leafy beast like it owed them money. Fast. Clean. Respectful. Efficient. Like if the Avengers specialized in arbor care. At one point, I swear I saw a squirrel pause mid-scamper just to salute them. I asked for basic tree work. What I got was an operatic ballet of chainsaws, teamwork, and professionalism so intense I needed to sit down and re-evaluate every other service I've ever hired. D-Hale doesn’t “do” tree service. I was really impressed with Hale Tree Service. Their bid was significantly lower than other quotes I got, but their work was excellent and professional. They got rid of a nasty invasive vine that was strangling a lilac and a maple, and trimmed some branches that were potentially menacing my roof...but what I liked best was that they did the trimming with an eye to the asthetics if the tree, giving it a nice natural look. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and in fact have recommended them to friends.
We had a lot that we needed to get done on our property--grinding stumps, cutting down a large elm tree, a few pines in our little forest, and grinding up a mountain of branches and debris. They came out and quoted everything at an extremely reasonable price, and completed the work quickly the following week. A nice little touch I appreciated is that they leveled the ground where the stumps were ground. When we've had other companies out, they leave a big messy heap. Obviously that isn't a big deal to leave a heap, but you notice when extra time is taken to make everything look as nice as it can. In general just nice people to deal with! We'll definitely call again whenever we need something.
We recently had D Hale Tree Service remove a completely dead tree from our backyard and trim a large pine tree that had branches hanging over our house. We could not recommend them more! They were incredibly responsive, professional, and did a great job. They were also able to come out within a week from my initial phone call to remove the tree.

Shout out to D Hale Tree Removal. Previous to having them come out I had three other companies take a look at the job. One wanted me to fund their child's first year at an Ivy League College, one wanted to bring in heavy equipment because they didn't want to climb which would've torn up the property, and one was allergic to poison Ivy which was on one of the trees. Dana and his crew did the job in two afternoons, dropped five HUGE trees like pros, and offered a fair price. This job was not an easy job,. It was next to the house and surrounding the propane tank and well. They made it look like child's play. Very skillful and a pleasure to work with. Five out of five stars.

We had 2 large trees take damage in recent wind storms, and Dana the owner came out to assess right away. He was professional and very knowledgeable. After quote was accepted his team was there right away the following day as scheduled. They worked great together and completed a difficult project with ease and efficiency. We highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of tree related services. 10 out of 10!!!

D Hale Tree Service was very responsive, left a message and was returned within the hour, they came out next day to do service. We had one dead tree hanging over the back part of the house and fence, and they were able to safely remove it. Nothing was damaged and they cleaned up the mess when they were finished. The price he charged was very reasonable. I will not use any other tree service!
